Playa Blanca which is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote.  From the seafront to can see Fuerteventura which is 11km by ferry.  Ferries cross to the Island several times a day from the main harbour. 

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo.  Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Car Hire recommended.

Playa Blanca has many restaurants offering excellent cuisine, shops, car hire and supermarkets   The promenade runs right along the sea front  to the newly developed international marina at one end, and up to the lighthouse at the other.  Backing onto the sea front restaurants is a pedestranised shopping area. Local taxi are available at very reasonable prices should you wish not to drive home from the restaurants!
